2006 update: bangkok post reports daily! over guerilla attacks in the southern provinces, don't be affraid too much, the chances to die in thailand through a traffic accident are without compare. Anyway the islands like Koh bulon Leh, Koh Tarutao, Koh Lipe, Koh Adang and other uninhabited islands are TO DIE FOR, ! no cars on these islands !
La Ngu is not of very much interrest. Friendly people their, a local market that supplies you with everything you need for the islands: mosquito repellent, bank to change travellers checks ( make shure you count your cash before leaving !!!!), two days old Bangkok Post, fruits and so on, plus the Taxi to Pak Bara to return to the islands.
