Bangkok/Patpong
Patpong, the famous redlight district in Bangkok is divided in two parts: Patpong1 and Patpong2.
Patpong1 still offers a wide range of dubious go-go, sex,topless, whatsoeverbars,but basicly its now a night marked for all kinds of useless items. Patpong2 keeps its identity as a pure redlight area.
Pick-up bars line the street, and everywhere you look, sex is for sale!!! Compared to the average
Bangkok standard, beer prices are high but not out of sight.
 Only smiles are for free. Beware! Even when you arrive with
the best of intentions, after a couple of drinks you can become an easy target for a rip off with a smile. If
that happens, you can only blame yourself! Very lively with very professional beauties is the Pink Pussy bar
(women welcome). Unfortunately it was not possible to take photos in there (for understandable reasons), but
some of the girls ond ladymen were very beautiful. A small Singha beer goes for 100 baht.  An old lady (no danger I thought) that lead me to my table, gave me a very good
shoulder massage and smiled 200 baht out of my pocket. For a short stopover it's always good, but if you
don't have the intention to buy sex, you should try not stay too long (or drink too much) because with the rising alcohol
level in your bloodstream, it gets more difficult to resist. And I know what I'm talking about.
Some of the upstairs-bars offer live porn and pussy shows, and try to overcharge the customers at the same time. But
watching those dudes entering such establishments, I think to myself, that they deserve it.
On Patpong2 I found a lively bar in the middle of the road, opposite SUPER QUEEN. Very good to overlook
the scene, and become a bit familiar with the scene.
All in all an exciting place, but not for boozing, because you really have to keep a clear head not to be ripped off.
That's all true, but we
love it.
