Hua Hin currently hosts more than 90 bars, that's more bars than Soi Cowboy and Nana Entertainmet Placa (NEP) in Bangkok together. The nightery entertainment area is located in the quarter framed by Damnoekasem, Naresdamri, Dechanuchit and Poolsuk Rd. (or shorter; between the Hilton and the temple) .
Gravity point is Soi Bintaban

No Go-Go bars!!!
Cheapest beer: A no name bar direct at the Railroadtrack at the very end of the nightmarket. Small Chang goes for 25 Baht.
Most expensive beer: Fisherman's Beer House (Naresdamri Rd. at the Hilton): small draft damages you with 95 Baht.
In the average a Small Mekong/Sang Som/Sang Thip (noong baehn) eases you with about 200 - 250 Bees including ice and soda.
Barfines for girls vary from 200 till 300 baht. You might pick ( or she picks you) for 1000 Baht, but a good girl can demand up to 2500 Baht for an overnight stay, and will get it.
But the crack down of the nightery-entertainment by the Thaksin admisnistration finds evidence also in Hua Hin .
The first to close their doors for the public are the girl/alcohol powered establishments at midnight, while the alcohol/live music powered oasises can keep their doors open half an hour longer.
While many of the bars differ like one bottle of bia chang from the other
some wateringholes have IT,while others NOT.Check it out. Love it or leave it.

A nice lounge with good cocktails I found at Friendly Bar (Soi Selakam)
Buddy's Bar, Soi Selakam, still alive and kickin'.
Nice And Easy ,Soi Bintaban -if you want to have it, have it full!.
Hard Cock Café, run by Jim, a small realm of pleasures on the temple side.
Outstanding,: Rockestra 2. (owned by CINDY) They have a second dependance about a mile or two out of town, behind the railroad track. Real, true Thai Rock, live, loud, crazy.
With all this shnapps, beers, girls in mind, DO NOT FORGET TO EAT! One great possibility without leaving the scene is Madame Yoo. Wait till she comes around on her bicycle. She sells excelent selfmade kanom jiep - crab meat stuffed noodles for 20 Baht.( absolute excellent, and puts some ink on the pen) .
After all the bars have closed (01.am), you still have a chance for a drink. Just place yourself in the food stall in front of the Temple in Poolsuk Rd.
Beer is cheap ( 50 baht for a large chang), thai food available, and watch the drunken farang being smooothfull guided by their picked up girls ( who piced whom?) to their cribs.
Watch out: No toilets! You have to ask in one of the opposite
western restaurants for the loo. (some of them are super frustrated, coz, while THEY have to close, the THAI food stalls can stay open. Do you can immagine how it feels when you desperatly need to ease yourself, and ask friendly the Thai staff of a restaurant if they might have a toilet, please!!! ( MEE MAI HONG NAAM, KRAP?) and 12 drunken swiss peasants shouting unisono in Thai with their heavy swiss accent:" MAI MEE!" meens "NO HAVE" - happend in Willy's Beergarden.
(Only recommended, if you traveled to the realm to explore the universe of swiss cheese)
(think: we appreciate that Hua Hin is not supposed to become a second Pattaya, but the government solution to a problem is usually as bad as the problem)
HAVE FUN, STAY CLEAN, DON'T DRIVE DRUNK, TREAT THE GIRLS WITH RESPECT, AND ALWAYS REMEMBER: ONLY SMILES ARE FOR HERE FOR FREE.
