The food, a high-gear combination of Franconian cuisine with a slight French accent, is only one of the little place's draws: most come for the warm, relaxed atmosphere and the people-watching opportunities. The kitchen is open until 1 AM, and smaller dishes are available thereafter. Reservations essential. No lunch. New York Times opening hours: 6 p.m.-3 a.m. excellent german cuisine, menu daily changing speciality: 100\\\\\% OLD EUROPE! Nürnberger Rostbratwürstchen with Sauerkraut, only past 23 h (11p.m.)
(a word from the programming nerd: The Florian is solid german restaurant with natural style, class and a than 30 year long tradition . After 11.p.m, the Forian turns into a celebrity dive. Then they start to serve their Nürnberger Rostbratwürstel on sauerkraut (best order 12 pieces, they are very small and very delicous), wash them down with a large cold beer and you are reborne). (but not "born again" ;-)
